The challenge
Catarina Soares is a hair professional who came to me with the aim of creating a visual identity for her personal brand that would later be reflected in her salon specialising in hair treatments. The challenge was to create a visual identity that reflected the elegance, professionalism and high-quality service she and her salon provide.
A Catarina Soares é uma profissional de cabelo que chegou até mim com o objectivo de criar uma identidade visual para a sua marca pessoal que posteriormente seria refletida no seu salão especializado em tratamentos capilares. O desafio passou por criar uma identidade visual que refletisse a elegância, o profissionalismo e o atendimento de alta qualidade proporcionado por ela e consequentemente no seu salão.
To achieve this, I chose the star as the central symbol, representing orientation, prominence and brilliance – fundamental values for the brand.The star also symbolises the range of colours and exclusive hair treatments offered by Catarina. The serif typography adds a touch of elegance and class, referring to the delicacy of hair strands. The colour palette of black, grey and brown conveys refinement, seriousness and confidence.
Each element of the visual identity has been carefully selected to provide an experience of beauty, confidence and luxury, transforming each visit to the salon into a truly exceptional moment.
Para alcançar esse objetivo, escolhi a estrela como símbolo central, representando orientação, destaque e brilho – valores fundamentais para a marca. A estrela também simboliza a gama de cores e tratamentos de cabelo exclusivos oferecidos pela Catarina. A tipografia serifada adiciona um toque de elegância e classe, remetendo à delicadeza dos fios de cabelo. A paleta de cores em preto, cinza e castanho transmite refinamento, seriedade e confiança.
Cada elemento da identidade visual foi cuidadosamente selecionado para proporcionar uma experiência de beleza, confiança e luxo, transformando cada visita ao salão em um momento verdadeiramente excepcional.
